100 MBBS Additional Seats – MBBS Telangana

After the Bifurcation, Medical Council of India (MCI) has granted 100 additional seats to Telangana State. These additional seats may be divided equally between medical colleges in Telangana. This would really benefit the students, who are trying to get seats in government medical colleges.

The proposal was accepted by Medical Council, after thorough research and personal visit to these medical colleges, the two famous colleges, Osmania and Kakatiya were visited by council members and were decided to grant these additional seats.

The increased number of seats may be divided as

Osmania – 50

Kakatiya – 50

Current Strength of MBBS colleges in Telangana:

1) Osmania Medical College: 200 seats
2) Gandhi Medical College: 200 seats
3) Kakatiya Medical College: 150 seats
4) Adilabad Medical College (RIMS): 100
5) Nizamabad Government Medical College: 100 seats

The fees would remain same and no plans to increase it at the moment.

The jury and inspection council were satisfied with the complete survey, infrastructure and facilities available in these medical colleges and granted those additional seats to Telangana State.

1. According to the statements collected by the local public relations team, the new move has been implemented free of charge in government-owned medical colleges under which the beneficiaries will be able to get breast implants for free.
2. This facility will be provided by Stanley Medical College in the state for those who are otherwise not able to undergo expensive surgeries due to financial requirements.
4. The Government has already said that under the new campaign the poorest people will be able to take advantage of beauty, which was already available in the private hospitals for the rich and affluent people of the state.
6. Under the new move the state government has already said that women of poor and needy families can request the loan facility from the local government under this scheme.
8. This facility has been implemented in the state as a joint venture between Nidyaog and World Bank, with the benefit of the local needy women.
10. Under the new drive, the government will provide services to the women of the state who have to undergo implant surgery to increase or decrease their size of the breasts.
12. State Health Minister C Vijaya has jointly filed reports and statements with the aim of avoiding the loss of private loans to private hospitals.
14. According to the state government, the new move will prove useful to the girls and women of the state, who aim to eliminate the condition of physical illness so that they can feel more confident.
